GENDER ANALYSIS
OF AUDIENCE
FEEDBACK
• We had almost an even spread of female
and male viewers, with only two more
males than females
• There was generally positive feedback
from both
• However there was an obvious preference
by the male audience
• This can be seen by the higher ratings
given from males compared with females
• The most enjoyed aspect of our film
opening was the running scene
• This was widely enjoyed, but mostly by
males
• We made this element intentionally
masculine and fast paced in order to
appeal to our core audience, compared
with the more emotional dialogue
exchange within the house
• This proves that we successfully reached
the male audience more than the female
audience, while still appealing to both
