Abbreviations and symbols.

Incorporated places (in square brackets, often combined with year or date or period
of incorporation):

Alphabetization.
Letters modified by diacritical marks are filed like their nearest basic equivalent letters in the
English alphabet:

š - filed like s
ž - filed like z
The order of letters throughout each name is followed strictly:
