This slide presentation is just a second part to the first one. The main idea is answering the question of does growing up in a gay home have a bad efeect on the children?
A presentation developed through collaboration between the University of Michigan Taubman Health Sciences Library and Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, MI. This work is discussed in more detail in "Synergism between a Teacher and Librarians in a High School Setting" by Merle Rosenzweig, Anna Ercoli Schnitzer, and Katy Mahraj.

Same-sex Marriage Lecture 4. Heterosexuals turn towards same sex sexFamilyMan2
Redefining marriage brings about social change. A small part of this change is positive, but it also brings about a lot of negative social outcomes too. In this lecture, we look at how, in a marriage redefined culture, heterosexuals are encouraged to experiment with same-sex sex from a range of places. This is not a good idea for children who are still forming their sexual identity. It can only lead to them finding it ever harder to build the lasting heterosexual relationship the overwhelmingly desire
2. IT DOESN’T MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! According to website NARTH.com Taking issue with 20 years of research conclusions that say there are no differences, two University of California sociologists recently re-examined data from 21 studies on gay parenting dating back to 1980. The new study by two University of Southern California sociologists says children with lesbian or gay parents show more empathy for social diversity, are less confined by gender stereotypes, and are probably more likely to explore homosexual activity themselves. Writing in recent issue of the American Sociological Review, the authors say that the emotional health of the two sets of children is essentially the same.
3. Also according to website HARTH 1. Compared to the daughters of heterosexual mothers, the daughters of lesbians more frequently dress, play and behave in ways that do not conform to sex-typed cultural norms. They show greater interest in activities with both masculine and feminine qualities. They have higher aspirations to occupations that are not traditionally female. 2. In terms of aggression and play, sons of lesbians behave in less traditionally masculine ways. They are likely to be more nurturing and affectionate than their counterparts in heterosexual families. 3. One study examined by the researchers indicated that a significantly greater proportion of young adult children raised by lesbians had engaged in a same-sex relationship (six of 25 interviewed) than those raised by a heterosexual mother (none of 20 interviewed). Some people will look at these findings as saying children will be gay, I think it’s stating growing up in a gay household widens your views on life. For example: little boys grow up thinking they must be so masculine and are not suppose to cry, when that’s not true, that same little boy’s life to me, wouldn’t be as hard if he grew up in a homosexual household. I believe he would carry with him both aspects on life, he will still be a man just a man that knows when times get hard or sad, he too, is allowed to cry.
4. When parenting gets hard for gays and it’s time to start answering questions…..look toward good, noble, gay celebs. Ellen Degeneres is a public and motivational speaker on gays and gay rights, the picture low is of the actress and her wife………
5. Gays Are Wonderful People Too!! At the end of the day, everyone must live their life, that will best make them happy.
