▪ I did my M.tech dissertation with L&t S&L entitled "Analysis and Design of Distance Protection
Scheme". Here, I first prepared the setting guide for Distance protection for 400kV transmission
line from Rajpura TPPS-Nakodar and Nakodar-Makhu. It was 139 kms long double circuit ac
transmission line. The relay used was MiCOM P444. After preparing proper setting guide, I
developed the model using PSCAD/EMTDC software and performed the operation for mho
characteristics and quadrilateral characteristics. Even, the functionality of relay during Power
Swings was developed.
▪ In addition to this, I was actively involved in the ongoing project for CB sizing calculation, Lighting
calculation of the sub-station.

▪ I was teaching the following subjects at UG level:
Electrical Power Systems-1, AC Machines, DC Machines and Transformer and High Voltage
Engineering.
▪ I guided three groups for final year project at UG level.
▪ I was responsible for class coordinator ship, Departmental NBA coordinator, Result Analysis.
▪ I was the main organizer for National conference held at the Institute for two years. i.e., RTEECE-
2015 & RTEECE-2016.
