PROJECTS
Best Price: Cloud based product price comparison
 Comparison-shopping site that features various deals from multiple shopping sites on the web.
 Apache Nutch and custom parsers on Amazon EC2 clusters are used to crawl a huge number of pages.
 Additional APIs from retailers are used to increase number of product categories.
Feedback Based Controller Design (Java: Hadoop MapReduce)
 Analysis of performances with change in number of Mapper and Reducers in cluster with high payload.
 Designing MAPE loop system to increase performance of Mappers.
Distributed Debugging (Scala)
 Distributed logging based on flow. Flow based error tracking. Rollback point tracing.
 UI based on Graphic tools such as Causeway, MSCGen and Swing for flow details and error tracing.
Gossip and Pastry Simulator (Scala)
 Simulation of Gossip and Push-Sum algorithms. Based on Distributed Hash Table for enhancing the existing Pastry Protocol structure.
 Multi-threaded Distributed implementation and code is optimized for usage of processor.
 Implementation of various topologies on neighbor node like Full Network, 2D Grid, Line and Imperfect 2D.
 Numbers of nodes connected to system are set dynamic. Node recovery is implemented (avoids non-existing nodes).
