My life is, is like a reality show. My name is Amy Anderson (laughing in background). The things that go on at my house with my child and Family, from my brother shooting squirrels and the dog going to role in the stench, to my child yelling and fussing about her Popsicle fell in the toilet! Like, we just have constant drama in my home. And I love reality TV, so my life seems like a hillbilly meets Hollywood reality TV show (laughing in background). My degree program is Graphic Design. I chose that because I felt like it is the personally the most fun and best way to displays my art and design skills to the entire world in some form or fashion. I not only love working with computers but also like building things out of wood, painting, making jewelry, sewing, cooking, and training dogs. The talents combined definitely have helped me decide the path for my future. I guess you could say I am
in the work mode catorgaterised as a Multipotentialite. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am originally from Richmond Virginia and moved to Amelia Virginia when I was 13 years old. I graduated from Amelia county high school in 2005. It took me a long time to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life. I knew it would of course have something to do with art but wasn’t exactly sure how to go about it. That is when I found out about Fullsail and sighed up for the graphic design program. I would be siked to work for a company such as the martin agency. They are located in Richmond va and have clients such as Gieco, Coolwhip, Discover, and many more. The reason I would like to work for them is because they are a laid back crazy, creative fun bunch of people to work for. They design brands, logos, magazine spreads, advertisements, and commercials. I feel I could bring fun and creative ideas to the table. My brand mantra statement is “Life isn’t about finding yourself, is about creating yourself” the reason for this brain mantra is because it really makes you take a step back and realize you must do something to get something positive in your life. Nothing comes free these days and you are your own superhero. I really feel with the skills I’m attaining and working for every day I will be able to offer the industry concepts and ideas creating professional designs. Success is definitely a top priority in life. The meaning of success for me is to accomplish my set goals and purpose. Well, that’s all I got for now thank you for your time! I look forward to working with you in the near future, farewell.¬

Editor's Notes
Me!
How many of you guys had a difficult time determining what you wanted to do when you graduated high school? For me it was the complete opposite. Ever since I discovered 3D modeling for myself back when I was a freshman in high school, I decided that is what I wanted to do.
I want to create the most realistic video game ever; in other words, I want it to seem visually real and to be able to interact with any object or building in the game just like you could do in the real world. At the same time, I want the company I work for to be completely engaged with its fan-base.
Modeled by me!
I am driven by my ambitions and by other’s successes. I value happiness, kindness, fairness, and dedication
I believe that everyone can accomplish their goals if they work hard and stick to it. I believe this because I used to have difficulty making good grades back in high school. I used to think that I couldn’t do it, but the fact of the matter is that I was just lazy! Now I am making A’s and B’s in my classes.
I am an incredibly fast learner and can adapt very easily. I also have experience with 3D programs as well as fine art training and I am still learning every day! I have always been very good at building things ever since I was very young. Trying to figure out how things work by taking them apart and putting them back together was something I always did for fun. These days I build all sorts of things such as characters or props on a computer.
One of my major strengths is dedication. I find that once I get started doing something, I try to always see it to the end. This is something I just recently noticed and something that I keep doing, even if I get lack of sleep. An example of this would have to be going to full sail, since I haven’t given up yet!
As far as experiences go, my father was in the military so we moved around a lot and that also meant that I made a ton of friends since I was very young! Despite leaving them, I was very grateful to meet them all. I even still keep in touch with some of them. I have dealt with good times and bad times in life such as dealing with death, or getting in the newspaper because of something positive I have done.
My most serious scars would have to be the situations where I would have difficult customers that knew they were wrong, but just didn’t care. Also the rude people drove me completely nuts. I learn to just calm down, take a deep breath, and continue working because it is going to happen again and you have to deal with it. It also helps to vent to your manager or your friends and family after work.
I would want to work in an environment that is clean rather than cluttered. As far as people go, I like to work in an environment that is exciting and around people that can joke around, yet at the same time can buckle down and be serious when they need to be.
Used to work at walmart, like I said earlier. I also used to work at a couple restaurants when I was in high school. These experiences helped with my interaction with people and even helped me open up a lot more in front of people I didn’t know.
When I was working for wal-mart, there were several times that I had to brainstorm and think of how to finish a project in the store. Because of this I had to adapt to the situation I was in and think of how to execute my plan as quickly as possible. I also went on a retreat for my school and went to help people that were in need. One project we worked on was painting a house and I actually ended up taking a leadership role with that. I work well with people that can joke around, but when it comes to it, know how to get the job done.
I personally see myself as an employee for one reason alone. I love to work in groups and be a part of something with other people. I know I will probably end up starting my career as a freelancer, but I would hate to work on things by myself for the rest of my life. I want to be a part of something great along side other people.
The market I want to work in specifically is the ever-flourishing gaming industry.
I wouldn’t mind working for a company that is large or small, but what I really want within that company is to work with a small group of individuals that know how to get the job done and that I enjoy working with. I want to be able to stick out from the others if I have the ability to.
I think that it would be really fun and interesting if the company I worked for were international, since I might get to travel. I have always wanted to travel all over the world at some point in my life, and that might be just the opportunity that I need!
My specific personal goals for the future would just to be successful. By this I don’t mean that I want to be rich and famous, although that would be a bonus! What I really mean is that I want to be able to say to someone, “Hey you know that game ‘so-n-so’ that everyone loves? I was the lead modeler for it!” I want to inspire someone or several people; I believe that would be my most ultimate goal.
Here are just a few examples of my work!
Used to work at walmart, like I said earlier. I also used to work at a couple restaurants when I was in high school.
I like to work in an environment that is exciting and around people that can joke around, yet at the same time can buckle down and be serious when they need to be.
