Slides from Good Return's event "A Career With Purpose" held on 10 July 2013. Our many thanks to our speakers, Diana Ryall, Tharani Jegatheeswaran, Sandra Carvajal, Sharlene Dadd, and Diane Bowles for MCing. Another huge thank you to Accenture Australia for hosting and for the canapes, and Optimiste Wines for the refreshments.
GVN provides international volunteer placements throughout Africa, South America and Asia. Our vision is to connect people with communities in need, with a particular focus on vulnerable women and children. We do this by supporting the work of local community organizations in countries through the placement of international volunteers.
Raising Girls' Ambition is a project that has taken a central role in the fight for women, and indeed the Girl-child’s right to a meaningful physical, mental, emotional and socially developed life. Raising Girls’ Ambition Conference was conceived to bring together Researchers, Development Practitioners, Policy makers, the Academia, Secondary School Students, and other Stakeholders who have concern for the development of the girl-child. RAGA envisions a society where girls can grow up to be educated, informed, able to make decisions for their lives and contribute meaningfully to the development of their immediate communities and society at large. At RAGA we connect girls to successful women, to mentor them. Girls find their voice, use it and they are heard.

Discover unique and highly successful collaborations between Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI), Rotary, and local clubs to create meaningful, hands-on peacebuilding projects with lasting results. Funded in part by global grants and Vocational Training Teams (VTT) these projects build capacity among community leaders engaged in conflict prevention in high-conflict zones. MBBI experts will demonstrate a typical interactive training session and share stories of peacebuilders who are helping their communities prevent or heal from conflict with a special emphasize on women peacebuilders.
