The report summarizes a usability test conducted with college students to evaluate the effectiveness and relatability of a slide presentation and infographics about preventing and managing debt. The test results found that 100% of students found the materials meaningful and would be helpful, though 20% found the debt information overwhelming. Based on these positive results, the next steps are to distribute the infographics more widely to students.

After a major overhaul three years ago, the University of Michigan Medical School’s flagship website for prospective students was getting glowing feedback. Great news, right? But … now what? What comes after “good”?
This talk presents a case study of how we dug in to a new round of user research to deepen our understanding of the application journey of prospective medical students and present the next iteration of an already successful site.
With the journalist’s question of “what did you know, when?” we mapped the information-seeking behavior of prospective students, and learned how the lens of time could give us new insights into how to organize and present information to users.

Question No. 01
Alia Wong’s main argument is that today’s children are considered to be experts of internet and technology but they lack basic education to have proper experience of the virtual life. We are asked to believe that teens have no idea of the perils they could face online. They need to be given proper education so that they can avoid problems like cyber bullying and internet addiction. She says that, “Social media can be addictive and full of predators” (Wong, 2015).Question No.02
The most convincing part for me was that online experiences subconsciously influences the identity of kids. There is an obvious example which supports the writer’s opinion. Kids from Eastern countries use social media where they experience Western culture. They subconsciously start to adapt Western culture and values. Social media experiences also influence the gender and gender roles of kids. This is evident from the arguments of the writer. She says, “They (online experiences) shape an individual’s identity” (Wong, 2015).Question No. 03
I think that least convincing argument in the article is that adults exaggerate the cybercrimes committed against the kids. Cybercrimes against kids are highlighted in social media not to exaggerate the crime but to make the parents aware of the threats that children could face online. This is done to just ensure safety of kids in the cyber world. Wary of cybercriminals, parents use parental controls to keep track of their kid’s virtual life. Wong writes in the article that, “Adults respond to such incidents with fear mongering and information campaigns” (Wong, 2015).Question No. 04
Wong is trying to persuade the stakeholders in educational system to start programs to educate children about the cyber world. The most important audience for the article is policy makers because they have highest impact on educational policies. Education department officials are also the target audience because they choose the curriculum and syllabus. Teachers and parents are also likely to read the article.

Results of the Evaluation
The results of the evaluation of the School Success Program showed improvement in academics for children who were victims of maltreatment. This program recognized that there is a correlation between poor school performance of children who were maltreated. The School Success Program assists maltreated youth in school with tutoring and mentoring by certified teachers (Mallett, 2012). This program recognized that children who are maltreated have learning difficulties in school. Providing assistance to maltreated children with tutoring and mentoring increased their performance in school. “Program participants have shown one-year improvements that are significant when compared with those of their non maltreated peers: Basic reading and comprehension skills improved 58 percent; math reasoning and comprehension skills improved 50 percent; basic writing skills improved 48 percent; and overall academic skills improved 51 percent” (Mallett, 2012, p.13). These results were noted from both genders and with minorities, especially males.
Background Information and the Key Message
Background information that I would need to present to show that this program is successful and should be implemented elsewhere, is to show the results of identified maltreated children without intervention and to compare the results to maltreated children with interventions. I would show graphs and data to compare the results and the increased improvement of the interventions is significant. I could provide results of a single research study to show how the intervention improved academic performance which is significant. Also, using results of past research studies. I probably should have titled this section Who Ensures that Digital Health Tools are Safe?. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is largely tasked with ensuring the safety and oversight of "traditional" medical devices. Consumer oriented technologies and many of the digital health tools available today present a more unique challenge for federal regulators. For example, software which reads digital mammograms is clearly a medical device intended to diagnose cancer. However, a mobile application which a user/consumer/patient leverages to track daily blood glucose levels is a very different approach. The mobile application is not making a diagnosis. There is limited risk of harm or change in medical management resulting from use. To address many of these nuances the FDA has created a

FDA Approach to Risk
The FDA continues to evaluate technologies in the context of risk and classifies technologies in one of three tiers. It is important to note that any mobile app; regardless of if FDA approval is needed or not; may be submitted to the FDA for review. At times a vendor will submit to the FDA for review to increase the marketability of service or solution. The device itself is not required to be evaluated but the vendor chooses to do so anyway. The classes fall into one of the three following categories:

Class III - High risk where clearance before marketing must be obtained and the clearance must involve clinical studies showing that the product is safe and effective.

Sampling Contact, Distribution and Collection
The basic idea of sampling is that by selecting some of the elements in a population, we may draw conclusions about the entire population (Cooper & Schindler, 2011).Target Corporation’s consumer base or demographics consist of younger customers and college students. The University of Phoenix student base gives us access to the university’s community and potential participants whom may have direct experience with the survey topic. The survey will be self administered; an invitation will be posted on the University of Phoenix website via “Phoenix Connect” inviting students to participate. The survey will be created and distributed via “Own Survey.com”. The survey provider, “Own Survey” will collate results. Our team will research the reports and figures at the end of the survey period and visually present the data.
Organize, Prepare, and Data Description
The research mainly focused on customer satisfaction on the quality of product and services of Target. 42.9% of the respondents viewed the quality of products and services of the company as excellent. Only 28.6% percent termed the services as dissatisfactory. 71.4% of the respondents have never had their credit card number stolen. 85.7% expressed their feelings on the convenience that the use of Target credit and debit cards brings to them. 42.9% of the respondents agreed that the features of Target cards affect business (Belt, 2013). Between convenience and privacy, 57.1% look up to the convenience rather than privacy. More so, 50% that were affected by the security breach are not sure about returning to Target's stores.
The survey the team conducted consists of seven questions which focused on Target’s customer satisfaction as mentioned above. There are a few questions which required a rating from 1 to 5 and a few questions which consumers indicated yes or no. As the survey results show some consumers are divided on their experience with the customer service they received from Target (#1) with a divide of 37.5% of good and excellent and 25% indicating it was very good. Their concerns about the credit/debit card security at Target (#2) indicates that 12.5% are divided about not being concerned and not sure if they should be concerned and 75% indicating they are somewhat concerned to very concerned. Question 3 shows that 75% of consumers have not have their credit card number stolen while 25% of consumers have. In regards to question 4, the ease of use while shopping with a credit/debit card 87% say yes while 13% say no. The major question to the survey (#5) is whether certain features of credit/debit card security affect the way consumers decide to do business with Target, and again there ...

USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview.pptxmarketing367770
USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview
If you're dreaming of owning a home in California's rural or suburban areas, a USDA loan might be the perfect solution. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers these loans to help low-to-moderate-income individuals and families achieve homeownership.
Key Features of USDA Loans:
Zero Down Payment: USDA loans require no down payment, making homeownership more accessible.
Competitive Interest Rates: These loans often come with lower interest rates compared to conventional loans.
Flexible Credit Requirements: USDA loans have more lenient credit score requirements, helping those with less-than-perfect credit.
Guaranteed Loan Program: The USDA guarantees a portion of the loan, reducing risk for lenders and expanding borrowing options.
Eligibility Criteria:
Location: The property must be located in a USDA-designated rural or suburban area. Many areas in California qualify.
Income Limits: Applicants must meet income guidelines, which vary by region and household size.
Primary Residence: The home must be used as the borrower's primary residence.
Application Process:
Find a USDA-Approved Lender: Not all lenders offer USDA loans, so it's essential to choose one approved by the USDA.
Pre-Qualification: Determine your eligibility and the amount you can borrow.
Property Search: Look for properties in eligible rural or suburban areas.
Loan Application: Submit your application, including financial and personal information.
Processing and Approval: The lender and USDA will review your application. If approved, you can proceed to closing.
USDA loans are an excellent option for those looking to buy a home in California's rural and suburban areas. With no down payment and flexible requirements, these loans make homeownership more attainable for many families. Explore your eligibility today and take the first step toward owning your dream home.

SUMMARY

Debt can cause health problems and a
ripple effect of bad habits. Presenting
infographics to young adults was a more
relatable way to bring awareness to the
risks of debt and the steps to get out of
debt once it’s accumulated.
This study on debt was to find a way to present information without losing the attention of
young adults. Too much information can become overwhelming and often ignored. This
guide will walk through our test plan on how much college students know about debt, our
methods on surveying about debt and our results.

A Usability Test Plan was prepared to list what the study is about, who’s the target audience,
scenarios and how the study will be conducted.
This test plan also helps with questioning the objectives of the study and gain understanding
from the participants.
Gaining feedback from the test plan will help the study to either continue on or do more research.

Based off the Guerilla Testing, two tests were
conducted at Texas Tech University.
One survey conducted at the Media and
Communication building and the other was conducted
out side of the library.
Each participant that volunteered to partake in the
survey fell within the target audience demographic
ages of 18-24.
Observation:
Each read information carefully and recorded their
knowledge of debt without hesitation.
Each subject showed a surprised response at reading
the percentage of young adults that are in debt.

Next Steps
Our next steps include giving the infographics out to students. If students have something small
enough for them to carry wherever they go, they are more likely to use it instead of throwing it
away. Our main goal was to make the infographics easy to read and relatable. This information is
effective and can be used by university financial aid offices. We will pursue passing this
information on debt to college students.

Conclusion
Our usability testing made it very clear that
getting information out effectively was
important. Many of our testers felt the need
for more information about debt that was
easy to read and easy to find. As well as,
information that laid out simply what you
could do to minimize debt or completely
avoid it all together. Again, this information
could easily be put onto posters, flyers and
online in the form of the SlideDoc making
it easy for anyone to find.
