This document proposes an online virtual educational world called FUNIVERSE that aims to increase student motivation by making learning more interactive, social, and fun. It would connect universities worldwide and provide opportunities such as accessing library resources, taking various courses, participating in open days and competitions. Students and professors interviewed expressed support for the idea, believing it could help students make better university choices and stay engaged through a more interesting learning environment. The founders also interviewed Google co-founder Sergey Brin to get his perspective on developing educational technologies and using fun in the workplace.
