2.  What is Construction Photography ?
Construction Photography differs from Architectural Photography
as it is intended to be a true representation of the materials on a
building rather than an artistic representation.
 Why is this important?
In many cases the materials used may be completely bespoke and
manufactured to meet the requirements of a particular project. As
such this may be the only opportunity for specifiers, architects,
installers or indeed clients to see them.

High Resolution DSLR Photography produces large images which
allows interested parties to zoom in without pixilation to closely
examine features such as joints, seals, fixings etc
 What is the benefit?
In choosing materials and products that will adorn the exterior of a
building sometimes what you cannot see is as important as what can
be seen. No other medium can provide such scrutiny

4.  What is ‘Site Photography?
In addition to the eye catching Architectural shots we all admire, site
photography has a practical purpose. If you are a manufacturer,
supplier or installer, site photography can show how you contributed
to the building. This is why we are CITB CSCS card holders.
The ‘during construction’ shots can really give a flavour of what is
involved and for obvious reasons can only be captured within a
limited time frame.

5.  What are the benefits of ‘Site Photography?
As a manufacturer or supplier these images can show the technical
detail, especially behind facades where, cold-bridging, insulation
and hanging systems cannot be seen in the completed shots. If you
are an installer, these images are even more important in conveying
what you do, and what separates your company from your
competitors.

6.  What are the difficulties involved in site photography?
Photographing a working site is very different from taking images of
a completed project.
 Health & Safety – We carry CITB CSCS cards to show that we have
passed the H&S Construction Skills Certificate Scheme assessment
which allows us to operate on working building sites.
Insurance – We carry both Public Liability and Professional
Indemnity insurance cover in the event that anything should go
wrong as a result of our presence or work.
Construction Experience – with 20+ years construction experience
working on building sites we understand the processes involved in
installation.
