Cecilie Kennedy volunteered at the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) Wildlife Rescue Centre and Elephant Refuge from March 1-8, 2020. She worked 6 days a week for approximately 8 hours each day. WFFT cares for many rescued wild animals including gibbons, macaques, bears, elephants, and birds. Volunteers' tasks include preparing food, cleaning enclosures, and implementing enrichment activities. The work can be physically and mentally challenging, especially for long-term volunteers. During her time there, Cecilie demonstrated a strong work ethic, care for the animals, and friendly attitude towards both staff and other volunteers. The coordinator recommends Cecilie without hesitation.
