About this webinar: This talk will introduce what cancer rehabilitation is, where it fits into the cancer trajectory, and who can benefit from it. In addition, the current landscape of cancer rehabilitation in Canada will be discussed and the need for advocacy to increase access to this essential component of cancer care.
1. In December 2020, Student and Alumni of X; a premier institute of India
protested against the desicion of the board for demolition of the iconic
dorm designed by world famous architect Y and built in the 1960s and
1970s. A group over 600 architects and academics from 118 universities
around the world as well as the Council of Architecture (COA) also
joined the alumni and students in the protest. In a letter to alumni on
December 23, the management institute’s director, Errol D’Souza, had
defended the demolition plans, and said that the structures are
“unlivable” because of issues including “concrete and slabs falling from
the roofs, brick deterioration causing cracking and water seepage, and
structural issues resulting from a 2001 earthquake." However, after a
local and international outcry, an online meeting to begin seeking new
bids for the demolition was cancelled.
3. The world popular cartoon series The Flintstone
which was based in Pagan Era which, is often
criticized for celebrating Christmas in a pre-Christ
period as shown in the picture. Tired of the
criticism the creators of the show came up with an
explanation. They said the characters weren’t
celebrating Christmas but some other event, what
is the other event depicted in the picture, the
creators were talking about out? (Image next

5. Answer:Saturnalia. The ancient Roman festival of Saturn in
December, a period of general merrymaking and the
predecessor of Christmas.
6. A certain famous currency consists of three different coins; in
decreasing order of value, they are: Galleon, Sickle, and Knut.
They are gold, silver, and bronze, respectively. There are 17
Sickles in a Galleon, and 29 Knuts in a Sickle, meaning there
are 493 Knuts in a Galleon. Around the edge of each coin is a
series of numerals which represent a serial number belonging
to the Goblin that cast the coin. What am I talking about here?
8. The lawn mower was invented by Edwin Beard Budding in 1830 in Brimscombe
and Thrupp, just outside Stroud, in Gloucestershire, England. Budding's mower was
designed primarily to cut the grass on sports grounds and extensive gardens, as a
superior alternative to the scythe, and was granted a British patent on August 31,
1830. The invention of the game of cricket pre dates by more coupe of century than
of Law Mower. Before the invention of Lawn Mower and later being used for
cutting the grasses on the cricket filed, the organiser in of the game in England in
18th century, had come up with the Intriguing way of doing the same with an ease as
cutting the grass of the Large field was very taxing when done manually. What was
the Innovative idea of cutting the grass?
