An ideal scene expresses what a scene or area
ought to be. If one has not envisioned an ideal
scene with which to compare the existing scene,
he will not be able to recognize departures from it.
A statistic is a number or amount compared to an earlier
number or amount of the same thing. Statistics refer to the
quantity of work done or the value of it.

Сonditions of existence
BE
The condition of being is defined as the
assumption (choosing) of a category of identity.
An example of beingness could be one's own
name.
Another example would be one's profession.

Organizing Board – Coordinated Hats
When coordinating hats you use an organizing
board.
An organizing board is made up of hats.
In an organization there is a flow along these
hats.
The result of the whole board is a product.
The product of each hat on the board adds up to the
total product.

Emergency
1. Promote. That applies to an organization.
To an individual you had better say
produce.
2. Change your operating basis.
3. Economize.
4. Then prepare to deliver.
5. Part of the condition of Emergency
contains this little line—you have got to
stiffen discipline or you have got to
stiffen ethics.

1. Economize. Now the first thing you must
do in Affluence is economize and then
make very, very sure that you don’t buy
anything that has any future

2. Pay every bill.
3. Invest the remainder in service facilities;
make it more possible to deliver.

Power
The first law of a condition of Power is don’t
disconnect. You can’t just deny your
connections; what you have got to do is
take ownership and responsibility for your
connections.
2. The first thing you have got to do is make a
record of all of its lines. And that is the only
way you will ever be able to disconnect. So
on a condition of Power the first thing you
have to do is write up your wholepost. You
have made it possible for the next fellow in
to assume the state of Power Change. If
you don’t write up your whole post, you are
going to be stuck with a piece of that post
since time immemorial, and a year or so
later somebody will still be coming to you
asking you about that post which you
occupied.
3. The responsibility is write the thing up and
get it into the hands of the guy who is going
to take care of it.
4. Do all you can to make the post occupiable.

This is a compilation of information which: 1) describes the

the proposed solution, and 4) there is a line where the manager
is able to sign to approve or disapprove this decision.

Antisocial people
 There are certain characteristics and mental attitudes
which cause about 20 percent of a race to oppose
violently any betterment activity or group.
 Such people are known to have anti-social tendencies.
 As they only comprise 20 percent of the population and
as only 2 ½ percent are truly dangerous, we see that
with a very small amount of effort we could considerably
better the state of society.

As there are 80 percent of us trying to

prevent us, our lives would be much
easier to live were we well informed as to
the exact manifestations of such a
personality.

12 Characteristics of the antisocial

1. He or she speaks only in very broad generalities.
2. Such a person deals mainly in bad news, critical or hostile
remarks, invalidation and general suppression.
3. The antisocial personality alters, to worsen, communication
when he or she relays a message or news. Good news is
stopped and only bad news, often embellished, is passed
along.

4. A characteristic, and one of the sad things about an antisocial
personality, is that it does not respond to treatment or reform.
5. Surrounding such a personality we find cowed or ill associates
or friends who, when not driven actually insane, are yet
behaving in a crippled manner in life, failing, not succeeding.

8. Many antisocial persons will freely confess to the most

9. The antisocial personality supports only destructive groups
and rages against and attacks any constructive or betterment
group.

Two types of people
The list given above consists of things which such a
personality cannot detect in himself or herself. This is so
true that if you thought you found yourself in one of the
above, you most certainly are not antisocial. Self-criticism
is a luxury the antisocial cannot afford. They
must be right because they are in continual danger in
their own estimation. If you proved one wrong, you might
even send him or her into a severe illness. Only the
sane, well-balanced person tries to correct his conduct.

Social Personality
Man in his anxieties is prone to witch hunts. All one has
to do is designate “people wearing black caps” as the
villains and one can start a slaughter of people in black
caps.
It is therefore even more important to identify the
social personality than the antisocial personality. One
then avoids shooting the innocent out of mere prejudice
or dislike or because of some momentary misconduct.

Two types of people
12 Characteristics of the social
personality
10. This type of personality approves only of destructive actions
and fights against constructive or helpful actions or activities.
11. Helping others is an activity which drives the antisocial
personality nearly berserk. Activities, however, which destroy
in the name of help are closely supported.
12. The antisocial personality has a bad sense of property and
conceives that the idea that anyone owns anything is a
pretense, made up to fool people. Nothing is ever really
owned.

You can’t just deny your connections; what you have got to do is take ownership and responsibility for your connections. 2. The first thing you have got to do is make a record of all of its lines. And that is the only way you will ever be able to disconnect. So on a condition of Power the first thing you have to do is write up your wholepost. You have made it possible for the next fellow in to assume the state of Power Change. If you don’t write up your whole post, you are going to be stuck with a piece of that post since time immemorial, and a year or so later somebody will still be coming to you asking you about that post which you occupied. 3.
