This document provides frameworks for analyzing global strategic issues at multiple levels. It begins by introducing frameworks for analyzing: 1) the geographic scope of industries, 2) the competitiveness and attractiveness of different locations, 3) the internationalization of firms, and 4) the global integration vs local focus of firm activities. It then elaborates on each framework, providing examples and diagrams to illustrate key concepts. The overall aim is to provide a multilevel approach for strategically analyzing competition and firms operating across national boundaries.
