YMCA, Visakhapatnam – 47
24 June 2021
The Councillor
Ward 09
GVMC, Visakhapatnam.
Subject: Dengue epidemic in my locality.
Dear Madam ,
I , Asha Jyoti, resident of Ward No. 09, would like to draw your attention to the alarming number of dengue cases reported in our ward lately. The official toll has risen to
22 and so we have to be vigilant against this disease.
The residents have a deep concern and anguish regarding the open garbage dump, the clogging drains and the stagnated water in the potholes that are breeding ground
for the mosquitoes.
We would like to request your influence over the civic authorities to regularly clean the area and look into the matter with immediate effect. Our repeated requests have
been paid no heed so far. Looking forward to an efficient response.
Yours faithfully,
Asha Jyoti
