2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
In Tamilnadu,There are 12 Corporations, 124 Municipalities and
528 Town Panchayats. In total the solid waste generation is
14,600 Tonnes per day. Chocolate wrappers, cigarette buds,
disposable takeaway containers, discarded shampoo
bottles, stinking food waste, broken bottles, tyres and even
animal carcasses – each of us in Chennai are contributing an
alarming 700 grams of waste every day. Perhaps, the highest in
the country. In Which many wastes are produced are stinking
food items.so using of food wastes we have found a two
products in which it supports to sustain the environment, local
communities and globally.Using of waste food items we can
consume high level of biofuels and fats in which used in larger
field of industries and can also used as natural pesticides and
fertilisers.

3. SOLUTION
There are many raw food waste items. in which we use the main raw waste
items are corncob, styles(silk) and husk with this we can able to produces
the shoes and heat resistant pipes were the shoes are normally has the
ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam that provides great shock absorption
when you walk or run.
but using of corn we can able to produce the form of foam in which used in
shoes. in mixture of corn and cotton it forms a rubber called as Susterra
propanediol. The material is petroleum-free, non-toxic, biodegradable, and is
derived from "industrial-grown" corn.It will be used for the soles of shoes,
while the uppers will be composed of organic cotton.Ultimately, our goal is
to create a broad selection of bio-based footwear that can be composted
after use,We'll then use that compost as part of the soil to grow the materials
for the next range of shoes.as for the shoe leather.Corn leather is a vegan
bio-sourced leather and is composed of 50% corn waste and 50%
polyurethane.
4. In mixture of corn cob and coconut shells
we can able to produce the heat resistant
pipes.with installation of ABRESIST
Lining(abrasion-resistant cast-basalt).in
which naturally corn cob and coconut
shells are heat resistant the macro layer of
corn cob, whose closed cellular structure is
the same material such as “extruded
polystyrene” (XPS) and “expanded
polystyrene” (EPS).in which these are
presented in also at the normal heat
resistant pipes.
5. IMPACTS
LOCAL IMPACT: it is inexpensive and can last for
long years and able to use without damaging the
environment and communities, it is a biodegradable
in which it can easily able to degrade and also use to
cool the body in which it acts as adsorbent.
GLOBAL IMPACT:cost production for crops is less
than the cotton. it is easily compostable can also
reuse and act as eco-friendly product
