Garrett Flower and his business partner Rob Kramer started their bakery business Krust Bakery in 2012 with their own savings after banks would not lend them money due to the economic crash. They have since expanded to 10 employees and opened a store in Dublin. Flower notes they have had to work long hours on weekends to expand their product range and market new items like cronuts and pretzel doughnuts to continue winning over customers and creditors. Flower remains confident that as they offer new bakery items and the market continues improving, their business will blossom further. He advises other entrepreneurs to surround themselves with people who have experience in areas the entrepreneurs want to succeed in.
