Five Ways to
Solve Your

Editor's Notes

  • #13 This slide provides an easy view of all the different ways Catalogic handles copies. For starters, it creates copies, snapshots, replicas and clones. As copies are created they can be tracked in the ECX catalog. Copies can be refreshed automatically, so users always have access to the latest data copies. This is very useful for automating disaster recovery, driving dev-test and so on. Catalogic also lets you use the copies in many ways, from mapping LUNs to spinning up complete systems. You can transition copies, such as from test to production. And finally, very important – ECX helps you clean up copies to avoid sprawl and wasted capacity.
