Colorado’s Fiscal Future
Deficit reduction, state budget cuts, tax proposals, the economy and job creation policies dominate everyday news
stories. Public conversations on these challenging issues are often divisive. Our state and our nation face the
challenge of coming together for common solutions. How do we improve the tone of our public conversations and
find solutions to these public policy issues?
Colorado Nonprofit Association’s Fiscal Education Network seeks to change the tone of these public conversations
by encouraging community, value-based discussions about Colorado’s long-term fiscal challenges, which affect
nonprofits and their constituencies.
John Creighton – founder of Conocer, a public
leadership consulting firm – presents this informational
lunch meeting to help you understand Colorado’s fiscal
situation and strategies for leading conversations with
your community on important issues like these.
