Bolted Tie-ins for First Oil.
TIE-IN SCOPE RESPONSIBILITIES.
1. PRE-TIE-IN ACTIVITIES
a. Valid PTW/EPTW shall be obtained for pre inspection and check the condition of the Scaffolding access platforms
(wherever applicable).
b. Sub-Contractor/Contractor shall ensure the availability of Tie-In Materials, other components and Field-materials
Bolts/Gasket which are required for the Tie-In works.
c. Tie-in Valve integrity to be checked by Plant Operation Team prior to job execution (Tie-in connection).
d. The new line shall be completed with hydro Test and Re-instatement up to the isolation valve prior to Tie-in
connection.
e. Tie-in readiness site walkthrough.
2. TIE-IN ACTIVITIES
a. Blind remove from existing line/ Existing line de-spading and flange management for tie-in.
b. Flange face clean before tie-in spool connection and Place new gasket in position.
c. After Removing of Existing Spade & Blind Installation of New spool, Cleaning to be verified by CONTRACTOR &
COMPANY.
d. Ensure that the bolt has been correctly tightened.
