What makes HOSA different? HOSA is a national student organization that recognizes the importance of giving students skills that go beyond the basic knowledge to enter into the healthcare field. Scholarship Opportunities Students train to compete in different events.
Competitive Events! Over 57 different events Solo Events Group Events Scenario Based Events Exam Based Events If you’re interested in any area of healthcare, there’s probably and event for you.
What Else? Exciting general sessions Educational and social learning activities Leadership academies Tours to healthcare facilities Exhibits presented by professional healthcare associations The National Competitive Events program The annual business of the national student organization of HOSA by the national voting delegates The Educational Symposium - workshops presented by professional partners that provide Information about current health care issues An opportunity to meet people from across the United States and Puerto Rico with similar career goals Fun, excitement, recognition, and opportunity for HOSA members!
Our Purpose This Year Get students that are interested in health related fields to participate in HOSA in order to develop a stronger sense of confidence, leadership, teamwork, and community service.
Tentative Projects for this Year HOSA Week Research for Juvenile Diabetes Blood Drives

Club Dues In order to be considered a HOSA member and in order for you to compete dues must be paid by September 28th and is $15.
Points All members must get 8 per semester (unless they are athletes in season - must get 4 per semester) 3 points  MUST  come from attending meetings (unless there is a verified class conflict) 2 points  MUST  come from participation in a service event with the club (this  DOES NOT  include  donations) Of the remaining 3 points, a maximum of  ONE  can come from outside volunteering (3 hours = 1 point) The other points can come from any combination of meetings, donations and participation in club events
