The student interviewed Khalifa Al Hmadi, a former football player for three UAE clubs, for a school project on sport, leisure and society. They discussed how football originated in England and spread worldwide. Al Hmadi spoke about his career playing football from age 10 to 2012 when an injury forced his retirement. They also discussed the UAE government's support for developing football and its national team, including its goal of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. Additionally, the government supports the growth of sports like jiu-jitsu and horse riding by providing quality training and equipment. In conclusion, the UAE aims to become a global sports capital and support all sports to help teams and athletes achieve success at the highest levels.

2. I interviewed for my final projectfor coursesport, leisure and society Mr. Khalifa
Al Hmadi and he was very happy to accept me at his home to do the interviewing
with him. I have chosen Mr. Khalifa because he was football player in three
different clubs Al jazira , Baniyas and Emirate and I think he is the best person I
found for my final project.
As we now the football stat for long time ago since 1886 in England and it
moved to every place in the world. So I havechosen football as a topic for my
final project and I interviewed a football player in my country and I discuss with
him four questions. Firsthe spokeabout his self, he is 32 years old and he started
his career since he was 10 years old and he stopped playing football since2012
because he got an injury. And we discuss how this sportstarted in the country
and how it gets morepopular and interesting formthe government and the
people in the UAE. What the country is doing to reach the high level in this sport
and as we know in 1990 the UAE national team reach the world cup. Also, they
are planning to go to the world cup again in 2018. We have in the UAE morethan
14 professionalclubs. Also, they are getting good resultin the AFC champions’
league as Al Ain Fc won it in 2003. Also wespokeabout differentsportthat it gets
more popular in the UAE as the Jiu Jiteu and riding horses. Wefound these two
sports havegood supportfromthe UAE governmentto find the best player in
these sports and to reach high level in these sports by providebest trainer and
equipment for the players.
All in all, we find the UAE governmentI supporting all the sports in the country
and it always awards winners in all the sports. Also, the UAE governmenthas
vision which is to be Abu Dhabithe sports capital. Finally, i hopeto my country to
archiveall their goal in the sportand to reach the best level in all the sports.
