This document discusses a final project that examines the paradox of low-income, high-poverty countries having abundant resources versus developed countries. It explores the role of multilateral development banks in catalyzing development by blending public and private resources and placing the private sector in operationalizing economic activities and crowdfunding. The case made is for financing infrastructure projects, particularly transport infrastructure, as it can promote efficiency and linkages between value chains and economic activities.
