AT&T was ranked tied for first place for overall wireless network performance in Youngstown, Ohio according to a recent report from independent analytics firm RootMetrics. RootMetrics conducted over 18,000 tests of AT&T's call, text, and data performance in May 2015 and awarded AT&T its RootScore Award for the best overall network performance. A RootMetrics executive commented that AT&T offered a very strong performance from the consumer's point of view. AT&T has invested over $50 million in its Youngstown area wireless network from 2012 to 2014 and will continue further investments.

Independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics awards AT&T shared #1 rank in
recent wireless network performance test
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (June, 16, 2015) — A newly released report shows AT&T* wireless
customers in Youngstown are enjoying a high performing local network. An independent mobile
research and testing organization today named AT&T’s wireless network tied for top honors. Seattle-
based RootMetrics® ranked AT&T tied for highest for overall call, data and text network performance
in Youngstown.
The RootMetrics® wireless network performance study for Youngstown has named AT&T tied for
the overall RootMetrics RootScore® Award winner for its combination of call, text and mobile
Internet performance.** The RootMetrics award is based on 18,509 tests conducted during May,
2015.
“AT&T tied for the highest rank in our May, 2015 tests of overall network performance in the
Youngstown area. Our overall RootScore Award looks at data, call and text performance across all
data network technologies, including 4G LTE. We look at performance from the consumer’s point of
view, and AT&T offered a very strong overall performance for those in Youngstown during our tests,”

AT&T launched 4G LTE** in Youngstown in April 2013.
