1. Choose ashort video (1.5–2 minutes):
Pick a clip where a speaker discusses AI, jobs, or technology. It should be clear,
natural, and within your level. You can:
•Find a clip yourself (YouTube, TED-Ed, BBC Learning English, etc.)
•Or use one provided by the teacher
2. Practice Shadowing at Home:
Watch & listen multiple times
Repeat line by line, then in full, mimicking the speaker’s speed, tone, pauses,
and emotion
Practice until you sound natural and confident
3. Present Live in Class:
Perform your shadowed version of the speech in front of the class
Try to imitate the original speaker’s style as closely as possible
Don’t read from paper—focus on memorization and delivery
