REVELRY SCHEDULES 3rd
ANNUAL PRESS CONFERENCE
Revelry Music and Arts Festival Executives to Discuss Details For
Production and Expansion in 2015
MADISON, MARCH 9, 2015 – The executive board of Revelry, Madison’s premier music and
arts festival, will hold a press conference on Monday, March 16 to discuss details and expansion,
as well as answer any questions regarding the event. The conference will take place at 11:00 a.m.
in Memorial Union (800 Langdon St, Madison, WI 53706).
Executives will reveal new information including location, funding sources, and community
partnerships for Revelry 2015. They will also release details concerning ticket sales and the use
of an integrated lineup teaser campaign to announce this year’s musical artists.
A committee of experienced students handles all aspects of planning the professional grade
festival, which serves as an end-of-the-year celebration. They began putting together the event
early this past fall, and will be sharing the monumental changes they have employed in order to
embed Revelry into the community as Madison tradition and cater to the popular demand of the
UW student body.
Much like that of the previous two years, this year’s Revelry strives to bring the festival scene to
the city of Madison, featuring both musical acts and artistic displays in a safe, enjoyable and
culturally perceptive environment. Bringing together thousands of students and community
members in this unique Madison-centric environment, the event has seen a rapid increase in
attendance over the course of the last two years, projecting this year’s event to be the largest yet.
###
