FIBC is Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) is an industrial
container made up of flexible fabric having polypropylene material that
is designed for storing and transporting of dry, flowable products such as
sand,fertilizer,granules of plastic,grains,sugar,salt,potatoes, etc
Also called as jumbo bags, bulk bag, super sack, big bag,big tote or tonne
bags
Has weight carrying capacity with 250 kg,500kg,1000kg,2500kg.....more

What is FIBC / Jumbo Bags ?
There is a disagreement on exactly where FIBCs were first made and
used but it is been used for a variety of packaging purposes since 1940 -
50s
By the 1960s, with the development of polypropylene material and
advances in weaving field, the Jumbo bags came into practice
This bags were rapidly adopted by a wide variety of oil and chemical
companies to store and transport powdered and granular products.
Brief on History of FIBC :

FIBCs have the lowest package to product weight ratio.
It ships 1 - 2 metric ton of product with a package weight as
less as 2-3 Kgs.
Can be handled, transported and stored without pallets due
to integrated lifting loops
When empty they are lightweight and can fold flat
