Hurst, another well-known talent from the area with 2 permanent works on display in town.
The tour will include several locally made sculptures loaned to the town by their creators for

Berne Swiss Days
Get ready for a taste of Swiss heritage and culture at Berne Swiss Days. From July 28 to 30,
Berne Indiana will be full of Swiss food, clothing, and friendly competitions.
Take part in some of the town’s events, like Swiss Days Parade, or the Berne’s Got Talent talent
show. Cast your vote for the next Little Miss Swiss Days, then rock out with live music at the
Tower Jam-Fest.
Swiss Days is full of fun rides and games for kids and adults. Try your hand at the Bowling
tournament, the sand-sculpture contest, or the incredible Swiss Steintoss. Come to Berne and

Kekionga Festival
Decatur’s annual Kekionga Festival will return from August 19 to 21 to show off its heritage to
all comers.
This event celebrates the Native American heritage and history of Decatur. Visit the pioneer
encampment and living history village for a glimpse at life in the region over 200 years ago. Stop
by for craft demonstrations, educational exhibits, and a vegetable and flower show at the
Riverside Center grounds.

2. Motor Sports Festival
Decatur’s Motorsports Festival is rolling back in to town on August 19!
Don’t miss the festival that brings in nearly one hundred classic automobiles every year and
draws thousands of people. Watch vintage vehicles compete for awards like Best Engine, Best
Paint, and Best Interior.
Previous Motor Sports Festivals have featured beautiful vehicles like the ’39 Chevy Coupe, the
’52 Ford F, and the ’27 T Bucket. The city of Decatur does its best to bring in all of the nicest
vehicles in the area for as large a show as possible. Spend the day alongside other motor
enthusiasts enjoying the parade of automobiles.
3. Allen County
Fairy Tale Fest
Join us at the Arts United Center in Fort Wayne on Saturday, May 14 for the Fort Wayne
Youththeatre’s 3rd annual Fairy Tale Fest!
The event will feature four different performances through the day on four different stages. For
just $20, visitors can get a ticket to all four shows! On the schedule are classic stories like Alice
in Wonderland and The Magnificent Plan, but there will be a few surprises in store as well.

Three Rivers Festival

Headwaters Park by storm.

the Three Rivers Festival. Carnival rides will fill the area, including a Ferris Wheel and attractions
like the Ring of Fire, the Super Jet, and the Bungi.
On July 9 and 10, Art in the Park will occupy Freimann Square with over 100 artisan craft and art
exhibitions. Or, visit the Emporium for a wide range of mementos, merchandise, and meals to
excite your inner shopper. For a more exotic experience, visit the International Village for

7. Fort Wayne Pride Fest
Come celebrate your local spirit and show your support at Fort Wayne Pride on July 22 and 23
at Freimann Square. This 2-day event will feature food, live entertainment, workshops, and

This year’s live entertainment will include the band “Night to Remember” as well as D.j. Trend,
with DEV as the headliner. The event features a beer tent and several local vendors as well.
Several of Fort Wayne Pride’s events are still being decided, but its Annual Pride March is
already scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on July 23. Visitors can also take part in the Cornhole

Allen County Fair
Allen County is pleased to welcome one and all to the Allen County Fair from July 26 to 31. Get

Prepare yourself for all kinds of special attractions at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Try your
hand at Team Pig Wrestling, or show your trucking talent with the 4X4 Truck Pull. Spend some
time with your kids in the Fun Zone by taking part in the Pedal Car Races.

Taste of the Arts
On August 27, Fort Wayne’s Taste of the Arts will take control of the streets around the Auer
Center, Friemann Square, and the Arts United Center and plaza.

displays. Come to Fort Wayne’s signature event for the celebration of arts and talent in the city.

8. Grabill County Fair
From September 8 to 10, Grabill Indiana will host its annual County Fair downtown. Expect a

Home and Garden Tour and ArtsFest.

centuries. Visit several beautiful gardens in Fort Wayne and learn about the efforts to restore
and maintain these historic sites. As part of the tour, interact with dozens of local artists and
musicians who have gathered to help make the event a success. Proceeds from the event go
towards preserving and repairing these and other historical sites in the city.

Annie’s Craft Festival

9. Johnny Appleseed Festival
On September 17 and 18, kick of the fall with one of Fort Wayne’s largest events, the Johnny
Appleseed Festival. Come experience the lifestyle and crafts of early Indiana settlers in this
wonderful 2-day event.
The pleasant smell of wood smoke and the cheerful ring of hammers fill the air as you wander
the festival. Watch blacksmiths, tinsmiths, potters, and carpenters construct tools and
decorative pieces using old forges and hand-tools. Hundreds of reenactors will be dressed in
the clothing of the 1800s or even pelts and leathers.
Try samples of fire-cooked meats and homemade sweets created by artisans. Watch cooks
prepare and serve kettle-corn or chicken and dumplings. Though modern day foods like
elephant ears and deep-fried Twinkies may be absent, the broad range of pioneer dishes like
ham, beans, fresh-baked cornbread, and apple cider will more than make up for it.

10. Dekalb County
Auburn Military Collector’s Show
On April 16 and 17, Auburn will be honoring veterans and its heritage with the Annual Military
Collector’s Show at the National Military History.
History buffs and collectors will come from all over to buy, sell, and trade military equipment.
Pistols, daggers, rifles, patches, and much more will be on display for visitors. Then, attend a
40’s style party at the WWII Canteen Dinner and Swing Dance.
This year’s show honors Milton Mapou, a Pearl Harbor survivor, and John R. Angolia, veteran
and author. Proceeds from the event will go to charity efforts, including Mapou’s fundraiser to
return to Pearl Harbor this year.
Auburn Spring Auction
From May 5 to May 7, the Auburn Spring Collector Car Weekend will return to the historic
Auburn Auction Park. This event brings over 500 motorcycles, muscle cars, exotic sports cars,
hot rods, and many other vehicles for Hoosiers to bid on in two days of auctioning and
excitement.
In addition, there will be a car corral and swap meet. The Antique Automobile Club of America
will be holding its Special National Spring Meet on site as well, bringing as many as 300 more
vehicles to the auction for customers and bargain-hunters. Don’t miss this amazing spring
event, when you could walk away with a brand new ride.
Strawberries in the Park
On June 15, treat your family to a special lunch hour at Auburn’s Strawberry in the Park event!
Sink your teeth into a delicious homemade strawberry shortcake topped with cold vanilla ice
cream and whipped cream.
Wander through the streets enjoying relaxing music or laughing at the clown shows. Children
can get their faces painted, or try their hand at painting themselves on one of the wooden
easels set up in the town. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund community works,
including scholarships for Purdue Horticultural majors.

11. St. Joe Pickle Festival
Get ready for St. Joe’s annual Pickle Festival from July 21 to July 23! Take part in dozens of
events and attractions like decorating a pickle for the Pickle Derby.
Get involved with the Bake Sale, or join the Blue Light Volunteer Firefighter parade. Take your
family on a tour of the pickle factory, and then taste samples from local food vendors. Watch

Ashley-Hudson Festival
On August 5 and 6, the Ashley Hudson Festival will roll into town for your entertainment!
The festival begins early, with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the Hudson Volunteer Fire
Department. Then, take part in the parade from Hudson to Ashley. The streets will be full of
food vendors, games, and crafts from the nearby area. The party goes until midnight with a
street dance in Hudson.
Past festivals have included a wide range of live performers and exciting games like archery tag
and a children’s waterball battle. Who knows what surprises are in store this year at the Ashley-
Hudson Festival?
Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival
If you thought the Auburn Spring Auction was big, you haven’t seen anything yet! Come to the
Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival from August 28 to September 5 for cars, parades, and much
more.
This week-long festival has a little bit of everything. Hundreds of cars will be up for auction, and
festival goers can enjoy the car show and parade. Take part in the ACD Club Swap meet, or
enter into the Miss ACD Pageant. Athletes can enter the 5k marathon, while casual walkers can
get involved with the Duesy Walk 5 and 11k event.
Children have access to all kinds of fun and games at the Kiddie Cruisers Activity Area. Children
can bounce, slide, play bingo, and have the time of their lives in this area of the festival while
adults enjoy can enjoy the Beer Tent or spend time on the Annual Hoosier Tour. This festival

12. Huntington County
53rd Annual Heritage Days Festival
From June 15 to June 19, Huntington County would like to share its early heritage with all
visitors. The Annual Heritage Days Festival celebrates Huntington’s roots as a Miami fur-trading
post.
For four days, the Heritage Days Festival will put crafts, machinery, and pioneer reenactors on
display for the whole community. The festival is hosting a hot-air balloon event, a car show, and
for the first time ever a semi-professional bike race. The festival’s sponsors are pulling out all
the stops this year in celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial anniversary.
Take part in this exciting remembrance of Huntington’s origins with a tour of the Historic Forks
of the Wabash and rides from Poor Jack’s Amusements. This event brings the whole community
together, and you’re invited to join in the fun!
Splash on the Wabash
Ready for a day filled with water and adventure? Join the fun on July 9 with Huntington’s Splash
on the Wabash!

From, September 8 to 10, make your way to Roanoke for one of Huntington County’s oldest
community events.
This sprawling celebration doesn’t just feature food, games, and rides. Take part in local
favorites like the NTPA Tractor Pull and Demolition Derby events. Come admire ageless iron
antique tractors in the parade, and follow it up by trying samples from the old-fashioned cake
baking contest and auction.
This event will also feature a car show, live entertainment, and the annual Corn Bag Toss
contest. This year is the 63rd celebration of this highly anticipated local event. Kids, parents, and
visitors are warmly welcomed to Roanoke’s premier festival at Roanoke Park.
14. Noble County
Chain O’ Lakes Festival
Albion is proud to celebrate its yearly Chain O’ Lakes Festival from June 4 to 7. Come on over

the Cruise-In Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Garden Tractor Show. Visit the Old Jail Museum for a

Building on the success of its inaugural Spring Gala in 2015, Creative Arts hopes to make this
event bigger, better, and more fun. Hosting the evening will be Nicholas Ferreri, Chief
Meteorologist at News Channel 15. Guests will be entertained by one of Northeast Indiana’s
best chorale groups, Heartland Sings, as well as performances by Wells Community Theater
productions, and a showcase from Creative Arts’ School of Ballet.
Come to this event for cocktails, a dinner, and to help fundraise for Wells County.
Bluffton Street Fair
Bluffton Indiana is proud to once again host its annual Bluffton Street Fair from September 20
to 24.
The Fair kicks off with its Grand Opening Parade, and follows it up with a host of fun events.
Fairgoers can watch the Car Show, the Decorated Golf Cart Parade, and a procession of antique
tractors pass through the streets. Then, take part in attractions like the Creative Arts Fest, the
Pony Pull, and the Weiner Dog Race.
Ride carnival rides from Poor Jack Amusements, and wow the audience with your skills in the
Street Fair Idol competition. Bluffton is happy to welcome one and all to one of its biggest
celebrations of the year!

Turtle Days
Churubusco would like to welcome you to its 67th annual Turtle Days Celebration from Jun 15 to
18 at Churubusco Park.
This festival features events and attractions for kids and adults. Guests of all ages are invited to
attend the Junior and Adult Karaoke Contests for a chance to win 1 hour of free recording at
Sweetwater Sound! Children are encouraged to bring pet turtles of any size and speed and
enter them into the Turtle Races!
Adults can spend the days taking part in the annual Cornhole Tournament, or join in the 2nd
Annual Great American Turtle Hunt for a cash prize. Turtle Days will be full of vendors, Bingo,
and fireworks to name a few. Don’t miss out on Churubusco’s oldest celebration!
Columbia City Old Settlers Festival
From June 21 to 25, Columbia City will be hosting its annual Old Settlers Days Festival.
Carnival rides from Poor Jack Amusements will fill the streets, while the city is overrun with
events and activities. Watch the American Legion Parade, or attend the dinner honoring Past
Presidents of the event. Visit the Whitley County Historical Museum or find fresh ingredients at
the Farmer’s Market.
Visitors can take part in the Horseshoe Tournament, or participate in Whitley County’s Council
on Aging Euchre Tournament. Finish out the event with a 4-mile fun run. Check out this event at
Columbia City or miss out on five days of fun.
Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow
From August 12 to 14, the Miami Indian Tribe is pleased to invite everyone to their traditional
Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow in Columbia City.
Local Native Americans will put on a display of several traditional dances and ceremonies. Join
them as they demonstrate their Drum Arbor as well as their Honor Song for special occasions.
Then, begin dancing yourself with the Intertribal dance or the ladies’ choice Two Step.
In addition to dancing, visitors can get active by taking part in the annual 5k fun run. Members
of the Miami tribe will perform traditional music and crafts throughout the Pow Wow. Take the
opportunity to learn about and share the rich culture of the Miami Indian Tribe.
