2. FASHION
The type of clothes that artist from this genre tend to typically wear is high
waisted denim shorts that are quite short with sporty shoes like trainers or
leather lace up boots or even wellies as if they were at a festival.
They also tend to wear over sized t-shirts that are tie dyed or dyed so they
have a cloud- like effect. The kind of colour would be light pastel colours like
pinks and blues purples and yellow, that have homemade connotations.
Big jumpers that are of a simple design or even plain with one bright block
colour are also popular amongst artists, or knitted jumpers. Leather jackets
with metal studs are also worn as they are very fashionable and stylish. Also
a cheeky blazer might make an appearance.
The occasional dress and skirt pops out as well normally of a lace variety or
a light earthy colour.
3. HAIR/MAKE-UP/JEWELLERY
It is quite typical of a festival acoustic artist to have really light blonde long
hair with a fringe and styled quite messily and not pristine all the time. But of
course they do sometimes have their hair styled really elegantly. Also flower
headbands and black blower style hats are worn a lot!
A dark line of eyeliner that has flicks, on the top of the lid with very bright red
lipstick and perfectly smoothed quite pale face makeup I have noticed is a
common way of having their makeup done. Or very natural, brown and
golden colours.
Jewellery is either a single chunky neck chain or multiple very thin long neck
chains with charms on them, loads of rings and midi-rings that have jems on
or patterns all sorts and beaded bracelets from all over the world. Dangly
earrings and hoops (not chavy ones)

6. LIGHTING
The lighting in my photo shoots and album cover for artists like Gabrielle
Applin and Nina Nesbit they tend to be quite bright and well lit and looks
much like very natural light even if the shot has been taken inside, as if you
were outside.
If they aren’t like this typical but quite plain lighting they will have a filter
effect over the picture like you would find on Instagram . Which can make it
look like its vintage or can enhance the colour or darkness in an image.
