Students leave their belongings in the hallways of schools for a variety of reasons - they don't want to carry everything between classes, want a place to hide things when others are around, and find it easier than going to their lockers between classes. Belongings left in the hallways include notebooks, laptops, pens and other school supplies, and are most commonly found on every floor and in the middle or ends of hallways when students want to rest and talk to friends before or between classes. Research showed that students enjoy resting against lockers and talking to friends.
