The Wilde Community Theatre Company will be performing Fawlty Towers 2 at South Hill Park in October. They will perform episodes from the classic BBC sitcom featuring characters like Basil, Sybil, and Manuel. The production follows the success of their 2013 performance of Fawlty Towers. It coincides with the anniversary of when the original aired. The same actors will reprise their roles from 2013 in this tribute to one of Britain's most beloved comedies.

In Vancouver, quality daily pet care is going to be found mostly in high-income areas. According to Vancouver Magazine, the article No Pet City notes that most apartments that are pet-friendly are actually found in high-income areas, “lower-rent places tend not to be pet-friendly” . The same would be true for dog training, dog grooming, long- and short-term kenneling and the sales of pet food. In sum, however, it seems that the sale of raw, organic, specialty pet food is booming in the City and Province.

1. South Hill Park gets ready for another dose of
mayhem and hilarity with Fawlty Towers 2!
South Hill Park are thrilled to be welcoming back The Wilde Community Theatre Company
this October to stage Fawlty Towers 2, following the huge success of their original Fawlty
Towers production in 2013. With it also being the fawlty’eth Anniversary of when the hit
sitcom first graced our TV screens, what better way to celebrate than spending an evening
in the company of Basil, Sybil and all the other much-loved Fawtly Towers characters.
Set in a fictional hotel in the town of Torquay, this timeless comedy features some of the
most iconic characters in British comedy. The formidable Sybil, the long suffering,
unflappable housemaid Polly and well-meaning Manuel all of whom struggle alongside Basil,
the impatient, short tempered hotel manager who attempts to maintain standards while
fighting against an array of eccentric and demanding guests, hotel inspectors, and ‘riff-raff’.
The Wilde Community Theatre Company is made up of local talented actors and actresses
of all ages who have performed many shows including the hit film and stage classic Calendar
Girls in 2012. The company has picked up rave reviews and fantastic comments from
audiences over the years, including the Maidenhead Advertiser who promised, ‘Precision,
well-balanced direction, creatively staged set pieces and a very talented and enthusiastic
ensemble cast’.
The three episodes ‘Gourmet Night’, ‘The Kipper and the Corpse’ and ‘The Wedding Party’
of the BAFTA award-winning series will be performed on the Wilde Theatre stage by
returning actors Lisa Renals, Ian Crump, Laura Hartley and Luke Burton who will be reprising
their 2013 roles as Sybil, Basil, Polly and Manuel.
So, be sure to check-in to South Hill Park this October for guaranteed five star (or more
aptly, 3 star) service from the Fawlty Towers cast!
