Lina Wassong, ﬁrst became inspired to
explore the aestheJc aspects of
technology while living in San
Francisco, the capital of tech. Her work
explores how we will seamlessly
connect and communicate with
electronics in the future. Wassong’s
design techniques are a fusion of
tradiJonal craXsmanship and digital
fabricaJon techniques such as 3D
prinJng and laser cuvng. Apart from
her work in the ﬁeld of fashion design,
she shares her passion for technology
by teaching workshops and writes
arJcles and books about electronics
for well known publishers like Make:

Manu Varas is a German based fashion
designer, she was raised in Spain where
she lived unJl she ﬁnished high school.
Ever since she was a child. Manu spend
most of her Jme drawing and painJng, as
the daughter of an architect and
grandchild of a dressmaker Manu grew up
with a passion for fashion and design.
In 2011 she moved to Düsseldorf,
Germany where she completed a fashion
design foundaJon year at AMD
(Akademie Mode & Design).
In October 2012 she moved to Berlin

experience in design, FF&E, and producJon. I have
a strong love for working materials, and have
experience of silver smithing, plasJcs, metals,
wood working, 3-D prinJng, CNC milling and

teaching myself a new one.

Having always been passionate about creaJve
disciplines, Jayda Hany studied Architectural
Engineering at the American University in Cairo
and graduated with a bachelor degree in 2012.
Moving to London shortly aXer her graduaJon,
she enrolled in London College of Fashion for
footwear design, BA level in 2013.

Before compleJng her ﬁrst year of BA footwear
design, Jayda was encouraged by several teachers
to apply for the MA level for her advanced
technical design abiliJes. In 2015, she successfully
ﬁnished her Masters project collecJon and
launched her brand, Jayda Hany.

Gal Souva ﬁnished 4 year study in Bezalel
academy of arts and design. Gal actually
went to study in Bezalel because it was the
only academy in Israel that taught shoes
design.

The shoes Gal makes are 100 % hand made. It
starts in 2D sketches, then 3D usually from
modeling clay sculptor, and ﬁnishes in to a
totally hand made shoes. Gal believes that
inspiraJon for shoes design can come from
anything and anyone. She takes inspiraJon
from architecture, pop art and animals.

Her aspiraJon for the future is to have her
own high quality commercial shoe line, and
at the same Jme to have a home work shop,
where she can create any crazy shoe idea .

Amber Ambrose Aurèle is known for her visually
unique work and sky-high heels. As a designer she
explores the boundaries of fashion and art trough
her Haute Couture shoe designs.

She holds an MA in Shoe Design from ArtEZ
Arnhem (2012) and a MA in Art History from the
University of Amsterdam (2012). Her academic
background makes her research process unique
and elevates her vision of beauty and design.

Her creaJons have a sweet and twisted view that
combines ﬁne handwork technique with

Graduate Footwear Designer from London
College of Fashion. Based in London, Camille
aims to provide the consumer a real

reaVached and reused. The drive is to reduce
post-consumer waste within the fashion
