- [presentation and name] We will make you an offer you can’t refuse: become the godfather. Famiglia is a Geopositioned Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game. Steal, extortion, traffic of drugs, prostitution, “legal business” in your city on your Smartphone. The elements in the game are: The world -> GoogleMaps map (geopositioned) The pieces -> citizens and police controlled by the system and the gangsters controlled by the users The player can do several actions, over the POIs/business or over the pieces: steal, stortion, traffic of drugs.

Some real POI owners can be upset by the kind of game Our solution : citizens, police and POIS with some interaction (you can earn experience and points buying some items on relevant POIS, 4square style) The citizens are managed by the system and all users have several citizens on his area; they can interact with them. The police is managed by the system and will try to avoid the crimes of the gangs And now the solutions to find players. They are the following 1. Advertising and press note in videogame sites. 2. By word of mouth. The players must know that they obtain advantages having neighbors (like in Farmville). Also, there are collaborative missions between several players. The solutions to avoid bad POIs acceptance are two: 1. Slightly change the POI names or use the generic names (“bank”,”cafeteria”…). As somebody suggested the past week. 2. Convince POI owners that the game is good for them. Make strategic alliances with small personal business (cafeterias, for example) near big work centers in order to make the workers go to get breakfast on their business to get some power-up on the game.
