A fashion design student from Santa Monica College placed in the top 3 of all award categories, including Best Collection, Marketability, and Creativity, at the 2014 LA Mode Fashion Show. Additionally, they won the 2014 UPS Future Fashion Star Scholarship Award from the California Fashion Foundation and Textile Association of Los Angeles.
