 Pigs
                                    The first thing that you have to keep in mind when you think about what do pigs eat
                                    is that these animals are omnivores. They can eat just about anything because they
                                    eat both plants and animals. They can also delve on worms, dead insects, garbage,
                                    trees or dead pigs, especially if they are left in the wild and they have no other choice
                                    but to hunt for their own food to survive. They can also thrive by eating roots, fruits,
                                    grass, leaves and flowers. So you now have an idea about what do pigs eat and it is

                                     very easy to answer because they can eat almost anything.

                                     What do pigs eat aside from the things that have been mentioned? To grow a kilo, a
                                     pig needs to consume 2.5 kilos of feed. Their daily food supply can be composed of
                                     dry products like meal or pellets and wet ones such as liquid feed. A balanced ration
                                     is maintained by farmers to be given to these animals depending on the phase of
                                     their lives and stage of growth.



                                     Gourmandia French Recipe:

                                     Feet and cheeks of pig to boletus/Piedsetjoues de cochon aux cèpes

(truffesnoiresrecettes / recette avec truffesnoires)

                                      Ingredients:



                                      1 kg of cheeks of pig (to make them clean by the butcher)

                                      1 kg of cooked pig's trotters

                                      1 kg of boletus (it is important to choose very beautiful heads at least 5 cm in
                                      diameter) 40 G of carrots

                                      40 G of turnips

                                      30 G of celeries

                                      10 G of leeksn30 G of butter

                                      peppernMarinade:

                                      80 G of garlic

                                      thyme

                                      1 branch of rosemary

                                      6 C. with oil soup of grape seeds

3 C. with olive oil soup of Nyons

3 G of salt of Guérande

Method:

Prepare the marinade. Mix garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt and two oils. Book. Slice thinly the cheeks believed, in small nets
of 5 is 6 cm length. Bone the pig's trotters, open them in their length by damaging them least possible, in order to be
able stuff them thereafter. Put the feet and the cheeks in the marinade. Salt and pepper.Book cold during at least two
hours. Prepare boletus by cleaning them and while cutting the feet. Book the heads. Prepare sauce.
