The American Heart Association NOLA aims to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. It is the oldest voluntary health organization in the nation and the largest AHA affiliate in the southeast. It hosts various events throughout the year such as the Heart Walk, Go Red Luncheon, and Heart Ball to raise awareness and funds for heart disease and stroke prevention programs.
