A strategic communication campaign is proposed for Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health Hospital to raise awareness of women's heart health issues throughout the year, not just in February which is National Heart Month. The campaign would utilize various outreach and fundraising events to educate the local community about risk factors and symptoms of heart disease.

Pal-O-Mine's mission is to provide therapeutic equine programs to help children and adults with disabilities, those abused or neglected, the military, and the economically compromised. A member gave a nomination speech explaining how the donation would help Pal-O-Mine's program for battered women. As a group, the 100 Women Who Care are able to donate more and make a larger impact than individuals can alone. Their next meeting will be on April 8th.Aids Run/Walk 2012 Kick Off

American Diabetes Association - Raising Awareness While Raising Funds
Dr. Lamont Tyler supports several charities including the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Members of the Divine 9 black fraternities and sororities held their annual Atlanta Greek Picnic last weekend. Over 9,000 members convened on the campus of Morris Brown College to participate in outreach activities like forums, a step show, and community service projects. The highlight was the step show hosted by comedian Lil Duval at Morehouse College, which showcased the best sorority and fraternity step teams. Top honors went to teams from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
