hacked into her Facebook
account and found out she had
an abortion.

3. Social Media is dangerous.
• This case suggests that social media can be
very dangerous in some cases because it can
lead to murders depending on the situation.
• In this case it was dangerous. Leanne and her
ex boyfriend had split up. Naturally, Lowe
wanted to find out about her recent life so he
hacked into her Facebook account and didn’t
like what he saw about her having an abortion.
This then lead to Leanne getting murdered.
4. Social Media is NOT dangerous.
• Social media is not dangerous and isn’t to
blame for the murder as Lowe would have
found of about Leanne's abortion in the
end, and he could of killed her any way.
She should have been more careful with
her security settings
5. Our opinions.
• Bethany – I think that social media is to blame in
this case because if Leanne didn’t have
Facebook then her ex boyfriend would never
have found out that she had an abortion.
• Erin - I don’t think It was to blame because she
should have put that private information on the
internet if she didn’t want people finding out
• Jemima – I don’t think social media is to blame
as Leanne’s ex would of found out about the
abortion sooner or later.
