2. OVERVIEW
There are 6 International Eye Care Organizations working
in Vietnam.
Support to Vietnam for eye care workers training, provision
of medical equipments, support for building/renovating eye
care facilities, support for screening / treatment/ surgery for
poor patients and children.
Total of financial support to Vietnam is approximately
millions USD in 2013.

2 projects in Ha Noi, Ho Chi

focused on Optometry in HCMC
and Ha Noi.
•Eye care in community in Ba
Ria Vung Tau.

Trained 20 eye care workers.
3 new clinics has been
established.
30,000 students screened.
10,105 local people screened.
