This document discusses applying 2-D approximate Fourier decomposition (AFD) to images at different decomposition steps. It runs AFD on an image with 1, 4, and 16 decomposition steps, recording the elapsed time for each. It displays the results of running AFD on an image of Lena with 1 and 4 decomposition steps.
