Jeremy Fowler interned with Dr. Melissa Vogel in the Department of Anthropology, gaining experience in archaeology. He assisted with projects including papers on organics, spindle whorls, metal objects with lead, and mortuary practices. Fowler also helped Dr. Vogel with her second book. He expanded his skills in chemistry, physics, forensics, and the prehistoric peoples of Peru such as the Casma, Lambayeque, Moche, Chimu, and Wari. Fowler plans to present this work at the upcoming Society for American Archaeologist convention and graduate with an anthropology degree in 2017.
