This two-act play takes place at the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica. In Act 1, Scene 1, the bank is busy as usual during morning hours. Kay-Ann Wilkinson, the Human Resource Manager, arrives early as usual and complains about Jamaicans' tardiness. Shantal McCubbin arrives late due to traffic. Their boss, Samantha Walters, later scolds accountant Daniel Palmer for frequently being late.
In Scene 2, Samantha thinks of ways to motivate her disengaged team. She learns of an opportunity for staff to submit proposals to appreciate clients. She assigns tasks to each employee to work on their weaknesses by the proposal deadline.
