The village of Darmang in Ghana has limited access to clean water, especially during dry seasons. Most villagers must walk 3 hours each day to fetch water from streams or open wells. This takes away time from farming and children's education, perpetuating the cycle of poverty. Villagers need a stable, clean water source close by to improve lives and opportunities. Multiple boreholes throughout Darmang could provide year-round access to water and help lift the community out of poverty.
