2) How does your media product
represent particular social groups?
I have portrayed the characters of my movie
according to the social group of age and class
and status. I have two characters in my movie
Character A dress up formally in a black coat. This
shows that he belongs to the upper class and is a rich
businessman. He is 24 year old. I have chosen a 24 year
old person for my character A because people in this age
are very hardworking, motivated and are able to defend
themselves, especially males.
Character B in my movie is a 25 year old killer who is
seen wearing casual clothes and a black mask. By the
look of the character, audiences could tell he belongs to
working class and the weapon he is carrying with him
also proves this as working class people tend to get
involved in criminal activities
I have chosen both of my characters to be in early
twenties because there is a fight scene in my movie and
audiences usually like to see young actors in a fight
scene rather than old men fighting.
