Q1 2011 Greece's execution budget demonstrates that austerity measures are taking their toll on tax receipts despite better collection due to reform undertaken over the past year.
India rupee gains for 2nd day on upbeat risk sentimentRoute Forex
The Indian rupee gained for a second consecutive session against the dollar today, helped by upbeat risk sentiment amid changes to the Brexit deal ahead of a vote by U.K. lawmakers. However, further gains were capped after some banks bought dollars likely on behalf of the central bank. However, most traders speculate banks’ dollar bids likely on behalf of the central bank today capped gains. In coming days, investors will watch for possible intervention by the Reserve Bank of India as rupee nears 69.00 levels.

Borrowing money is easy. Paying it back it a little more difficult.
Lets look at how the cost of a payday loan can get out of control.
India rupee jumps to 1 month high on likely dollar inflowsRoute Forex
The Indian rupee rose to a one-month high against the dollar, helped by banks’ greenback sales likely on behalf of their custodial clients who stepped up investments into local markets. Rupee’s appreciation is not due to any changes in the fundamentals but because of expectations of fund inflows, therefore some strength in the local currency may continue in the near term. However, weak local shares and uptick in dollar index along with rebound in the oil prices limited larger gains in the rupee. For further cues U.S.-China trade talks will be closely watched by the investors.

The pound had a good week. Warnings about the possible hacking of Britain's infrastructure by the Kremlin were ineffective at holding back the pound at the end of last week and there was a raft of positive stats and announcements to provide support.

Weekly currency round up - 23rd February 2018. moneycorpbank1
The end of last week didn’t bring much good news for sterling. UK retail sales in January were up by 0.1% from December and 1.6% more than in the same month last year.
Last week the pound strengthened by an average of 0.5% against the other dozen most actively-traded currencies. The main focus for sterling was Brexit, and whether the government could come up with a plan that would avoid alienating half the ruling Conservative party.

Weekly Currency Round-Up – Friday 15th June 2018Beatrice Garcia
Ecostats throughout the week and Tuesday’s debate in the House of Commons over amendments to the EU withdrawal bill have all had effects on the pound, this week.
Weekly Currency Round up- 9th February 2018moneycorpbank1
At the end of last week, UK PMIs for manufacturing (55.3) and construction (50.2) were lower on the month and below forecast, but this seemed to have little impact on sterling, perhaps because investors’ focus was elsewhere.
Brexit is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU). Following a referendum held on 23 June 2016 in which 51.9 percent of those voting supported leaving the EU, the Government invoked Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union, starting a two-year process which was due to conclude with the UK's exit on 29 March 2019. That deadline has since been extended to 31 October 2019.
It’s been a challenging week for the pound; on Monday Bank of England chief economist Andy Haldane spoke yesterday about "Big Data" and its use now and in the future to help shape the Bank's policy decisions.
At the end of last week, gross domestic product data from Britain showed the economy expanding by 0.4% in Q4 and by 1.4% in calendar 2017. Those numbers met expectations but UK mortgage approvals fell by more than forecast. This short week after the Easter break didn’t bring much in the way of good news.

At the end of last week, PM Theresa May gave a speech which acknowledged that trade with the EU will become more difficult, the ECJ will continue to have a say on certain matters and some freedom of movement will persist.

The pound was off to a poor start at the beginning of this week, particularly given the Bank of England’s guidance last week that the UK interest rates would rise sooner and further than previously suggested.
It has been a better week for the pound, which has strengthened after signs that Brexit talks are progressing to the point where there may be an agreement on the divorce bill.

Financial Assets: Debit vs Equity Securities.pptxWrito-Finance
financial assets represent claim for future benefit or cash. Financial assets are formed by establishing contracts between participants. These financial assets are used for collection of huge amounts of money for business purposes.
Two major Types: Debt Securities and Equity Securities.
Debt Securities are Also known as fixed-income securities or instruments. The type of assets is formed by establishing contracts between investor and issuer of the asset.
• The first type of Debit securities is BONDS. Bonds are issued by corporations and government (both local and national government).
• The second important type of Debit security is NOTES. Apart from similarities associated with notes and bonds, notes have shorter term maturity.
• The 3rd important type of Debit security is TRESURY BILLS. These securities have short-term ranging from three months, six months, and one year. Issuer of such securities are governments.
• Above discussed debit securities are mostly issued by governments and corporations. CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSITS CDs are issued by Banks and Financial Institutions. Risk factor associated with CDs gets reduced when issued by reputable institutions or Banks.
Following are the risk attached with debt securities: Credit risk, interest rate risk and currency risk
There are no fixed maturity dates in such securities, and asset’s value is determined by company’s performance. There are two major types of equity securities: common stock and preferred stock.
Common Stock: These are simple equity securities and bear no complexities which the preferred stock bears. Holders of such securities or instrument have the voting rights when it comes to select the company’s board of director or the business decisions to be made.
Preferred Stock: Preferred stocks are sometime referred to as hybrid securities, because it contains elements of both debit security and equity security. Preferred stock confers ownership rights to security holder that is why it is equity instrument
Equity securities as a whole is used for capital funding for companies. Companies have multiple expenses to cover. Potential growth of company is required in competitive market. So, these securities are used for capital generation, and then uses it for company’s growth.
Concluding remarks
Both are employed in business. Businesses are often established through debit securities, then what is the need for equity securities. Companies have to cover multiple expenses and expansion of business. They can also use equity instruments for repayment of debits. So, there are multiple uses for securities. As an investor, you need tools for analysis. Investment decisions are made by carefully analyzing the market. For better analysis of the stock market, investors often employ financial analysis of companies.

A pi merchant is someone who buys pi coins from miners and resell to these crypto whales and holders of pi..

Euro weekly market report - 15th december 2017
1. Euro Weekly Market Report- 15th
December 2017
After enjoying the after effects of an agreement on the Brexit divorce bill last week, the pound found itself on shakier
ground this week. David Davis’ comments that the deal would be “Canada plus plus plus,” was immediately
contradicted by the EU. Inflation was reported at 3.1%, requiring the Bank of England governor to write to the
chancellor. Later in the week, parliament took back control of the Brexit process when it voted narrowly in favour of
an amendment that will give it the final say in approving Downing Street's deal with the EU. Although this adds a
further layer of potential uncertainty, investors eventually decided it was a positive outcome for sterling, which was
an average of 0.2% higher on the day. This is likely to be because they were relieved that it was more likely to result in
closer future involvement with the single market. Investors have never been keen on the prospect of Britain "crashing
out" of its relationship with Europe and they saw yesterday evening's vote as diminishing that prospect.
The euro had a more positive and straightforward week. The European Central Bank (ECB) has lifted its economic
growth forecasts as growth across the eurozone picks up. It now expects the eurozone's economy to grow 2.4% this
year, ahead of its previous guidance of 2.2%. The bank also kept its main interest rate at zero and confirmed its asset
purchase programme would drop from €60bn to €30bn a month in January. The bank also raised its GDP growth
forecast for next year to 2.3% from 1.8%, and for 2019 to 1.9% from 1.7%.
