In 1999 I enrolled for my B.Diac Youth Work degree at University of South Africa, Hugenote Collage, Wellington, Western Cape Campus.
During the duration of the 3 years course, I was involved as a youth work student with various farm workers and families of farm workers in
the Wellington and Paarl areas. During my studies of my subsequent honours degree in Pastoral Care, I worked as a pastoral care giver with
victims of family violence and other traumatised people. During my four years in Wellington I worked hand in hand with practising and
student Social Workers as I shared most of my classes and practical requirements with the student social workers at the campus.
After obtaining my Honours degree in Practical Theology, I went to the USA as a camp counsellor at Camp Carolina in Brevard, North
Carolina.
On returning to South Africa in 2004 I enrolled for and completed my LLB degree at the University of Pretoria. During 2004 I started off as
an articled clerk at Eugene Kruger & Co Inc. Attorneys while I was enrolled for my LL.B degree. I was admitted as an attorney on 28
January 2010.
In 2012 I enrolled for my LL.M degree in Environmental Law at the University of North West, Potchefstroom and successfully completed the
course in November 2014.
The subject of my dissertation is: “Die regulering van koolstofbelasting in Suid-Afrika”, translated as The regulation of carbon tax in South
Africa.
I submitted and passed the dissertation during November 2014.
I am currently a full-time Director and Attorney at Eugene Kruger & Co Inc. Attorneys. I am currently responsible for the day to day
operations of the Litigation, Commercial Law, Liquor Licensing and Environmental departments of the company.
As the Director and Practicing Attorney, I am currently responsible for all family law matters that cross our offices. As I am a qualified Youth
Worker and pastoral care giver, I assist clients in what is the best options in regards to any family law matters in consideration of the minor
children and the legal rights and responsibilities of parents towards their children.
I am currently serving on the Liquor Committee of the Law Society of South Africa. I have applied for over 400 new and transfer of
ownership licenses on behalf of clients in the past few years. I consults and works with various companies and individual clients on legal
issues, liquor related issues, including business entity development and choosing the effective vehicle for the purpose of the client or
business, monitoring and evaluating of strategy and implementation of strategy.
As a professional Attorney I facilitates and institutes various litigation matters for clients. I am also very knowledgeable of the current family
and Labour Laws in South Africa. I have attended various Maintenance court meetings and court hearings. I have also attended various
CCMA conciliation and arbitration hearings on behalf of Employers and Employees.

During 2013 I attended two courses in Project Management known as Managing BY Project (MP3) and Guiding Organisation Charge,
presented by Davis & Dean, accredited by the Project Management Institute, ECSA and the Services Sector Education and Training
Authority.
2. During 2012 to 2014 I was actively involved with a networking group named BNI (Business Network International). From June 2012 to May
2013 I was the educational co-ordinator for the BNI High Performers Chapter in Centurion. For the duration of June 2013 to September 2013
I was appointed the secretary treasurer for the BNI High Performers Chapter in Centurion. Early October 2013 I moved to the BNI Infinity
Chapter in central Pretoria, where I was the educational co-ordinator for the chapter until November 2014 when I resigned from BNI.. As
educational co-ordinator my functions were to ensure that all members of the BNI Chapter understand the value of networking and are
capable to network effectively.
I am currently in the process to establish a new Environmental Law department for the firm. This department is responsible for liaison with
the Department of Environmental Affairs in regards of all water and waste related authorisations and licences. This department addresses
Carbon Tax matters as well as possibilities of claiming environmental related rebates in terms of SARS.
Since 2012 Eugene Kruger has represented various marketing start-up companies and has gained fast amount of experience in contractual
Law as well as marketing law.
