The ETH Alumni event will take place on December 14th, 2015 at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. The program will include an apéro at 19:00, a presentation from 19:30-20:00 on the National Science Experiment organized by the NRF and MOE involving 43,000 Singapore students carrying sensors to record environmental data, and a Q&A session until 20:30. The venue is Room TT21 in building 2 on the 3rd floor of SUTD.

PRESENTATION ABSTRACT:
The National Science Experiment is
organized by the NRF and MOE to encourage
Singapore’s students to become excited
about Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics. From Sept-Nov. 2015, 43,000
students from all over the nation carried
SUTD-designed sensors during their daily
activities and recorded temperature,
pressure, humidity, light, noise, steps taken,
and transportation modes. This data allows
students and researchers unprecedented
view of Singapore’s transportation patterns
