Introduction
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to record the software specifications which are gathered on the
various meetings conducted with client. This document covers the Software Requirement
Specification required by the software going to be developed specially for the customer Emirates
Printing Press. This document will be referred for preparing the following.
 Functional Specification Document
 Design Level Document
 Test Case preparation & Testing
 Test Report Document
 Implementation
 Training
Intended Audience
The document is created by Access One Technologies based on the feedback during the various
meetings with the client.
This document is intended for Access One Technologies development team and IT / User team / Project
Owner / Management from the customer side. It has a sign-off sheet at the end of the document for
both vendor and customer to ensure their full understanding and to freeze the software requirements.

Executive Summary
The Client “Al Shirawi Group” is looking for a web portal by which the privileged users can
upload the daily transaction (Stock) details and the same can be retrieved using various
filters available in the report session. The uploading of the excel data will be restricted to
the EPP users.
Solution Scope
 Option to login to the system
 Create/ Manage user accounts and privileges
 Create/ Manage Flight master & Item master.
 Upload the stock details from excel file.
 Inventory control
 Option to generate various reports based on the master/transaction data.

Master
All the transaction related master details like Flight Master, Item Master will be maintained in this
session
 Flight Master
The user can create a new flight or modify the existing flight or delete a flight using this option.
Following are the fields available in the flight master
 FlightID – System Generated
 Flight Code
 Flight Description
 Flight Sector
 Remarks
 Status (1-Active,0-inactive)
Note: There will be an option for upload the flight master data through excel file.
 Item Master
The user can create/ Modify/ Delete/ Search the items using this option. Following are the fields
available in the item master
 Item ID – System Generated
 Item Code
 Item Description

Transaction
 Opening Stock Update
This option will allow the privileged user (EPP user) to import the opening stock data from excel file
to the portal. Once the file has been selected for uploading, the data will be listed in the application
& the same can be verified by the user and commit the upload. The user will be uploading separate
files for each opening stock (Printed, Delivered & Returned) entries.
Note: The file format for opening stock will be same as the transaction data excel file.
Following are the details available in the excel file as well as in the system.

 Status (Printed/ Delivered/ Returned)
 Data Upload
This option will allow the privileged user (EPP user) to import the data from excel file to the portal.

This section will be used to generate the various reports based on the master/ transaction data. The
following are the reports will be available in the system. All the reports can be generated using
maximum available filters.

User Management
This section will allow us to enroll the users & define the access rights.
 User Group & Privileges
User Groups and privileges are used to manage the access rights for users. New User groups can be
created and existing user groups can be edited using this option. Following are the fields available in
the user group.

the privileges will be granted to the user. By default, the system includes one administrator account,
