Inclusive Competitiveness: Empowering underrepresented populations to improve their productivity performance to compete in the 21st century innovation economy.
I represented Amity University, Noida at the AIMA national debate competition on the topic, ' innovative youth driving nations growth'. this was my presentation for that competition.
Child labour refers to the employment of children in any work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and that is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful. There are lots of cause of child labour such as Primary causes,Cultural causes & Macroeconomic causes.
A series of demographic, technological and economic transformations are reshaping labour markets on a global basis. From the entry of billions of new skilled individuals into the global workforce to the acceleration of artificial intelligence and automation, these transformations have been tough on mature economies and especially young people.
At the same time, the dynamics of job creation have changed in a profound way. Large multinational companies and government are important employers, but they are not the primary engines of new job creation. The primary job creators are entrepreneurial firms on a growth trajectory – which are responsible for at least 80% of new jobs. We’ve seen a significant rise in self-employment, freelancing and entrepreneurship and thankfully there are powerful new tools to help entrepreneurs be successful.
Entrepreneurship alone, however, is not a complete solution. There is a significant segment of the population of young people that do not have the skills, nor the tools required to succeed in a more entrepreneurial economy. We need new approaches to skills training and new networks to support entrepreneurial activity.
The first priority is to build networks that can bring the right combination of skills and resources together to solve some of underlying challenges associated with youth unemployment. We need a less fragmented and collaborative approach, one that draws on the strengths of each sector – one where resources are shared and where various actors from across disciplines and sectors contribute complementary assets, perspectives and skills.

Illinois should no longer be the laughingstock of late night comedians; we should stand out as a national leader. We should stop squandering our precious intellectual and financial capital and embrace programs and initiatives that bring out the best of every region of Illinois and on Main Street. We need to create job opportunities for our children so they stay in Illinois. We want our kids to live 10 minutes away, not 10 hours.
We need to declare Illinois OPEN FOR BUSINESS and Make Illinois Work Again!

Initial Assessment
My initiative is generally meant to benefit the youth who will be the future leaders of this country and the students with disabilities. As we all know the youth face one major problem, which is unemployment and this is mainly because the population grows much faster than how the economy is growing. As I focus on the youth, I also have a soft spot for students with disabilities because I totally understand what they are going through. For this reason my other initiative is to ensure that the students with disability receive education properly just like the other normal students. This initiative is as a result of my own experience as I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and learning how to read and write became a challenge. Students with disabilities lack the assistance they need because most institutions in Ohio have knowledgeable trained instructors who understood a students with disabilities.
Indicators of success
For the initiative to assist the youths, one of the key success indicators will be witnessing the youth engaging in activities that benefit them financially rather than job seeking. I don’t mean to say that job seeking is not good but I am aiming at changing the perspective of the youth. They don’t have to be employed to show that they have are successful. They can use the knowledge they have gained in the universities and engage in self-employment. A key success indicator here will be the reduction of the number of youth seeking jobs because they will have self-employed themselves and they will be making money. Success indicator for my second initiative will be based in the testimonies of students with disabilities. Nothing will make me happy than seeing more people with disabilities joining various levels in education and receiving education. More of the will graduate and find job to do rather than stay in the house and depend on other people or beg (Ferriter, 2011).
Evaluation and Report of the Outcomes
The outcomes of my initiatives will be measured according to the impact they will have on the youth of the state of Ohio. The youth are expected to participate more on community based programs because youths are a powerful and energetic resource of the community. Results should indicate that more youths are participating in community development and none of them are idol. The success of this may take a while but a long journey starts with a single step. Also, the success of this initiative will be based on the outcome of the performance of students with disabilities. Their performance in school will be celebrated and recognized to encourage them to pursue even higher studies (Berkas, & Hong, 2000.

One post on SecondRail.com looks at the importance of
entrepreneurship in the education sector. It is important to
note that many foreign entrepreneurs are moving to the United
States, but most are not considering involvement with the
education sector.
3. This is unfortunate, since many school boards are looking to hire
more entrepreneurial management with the hope of using their talent
for innovation. One problem lies in the status of the educational
space. Start-ups and incubators are more welcoming in terms of
providing better opportunities and substantially greater earning
potential.
If schools cannot entice these entrepreneurs to come to them, they
should begin to consider a cultural transformation, wherein
educators start to see themselves as entrepreneurs. Fortunately,
some entrepreneurs are starting to see themselves as educators as
well. The future of the educational sector will brighten to the degree
that it welcomes the idea of cross-disciplines and steps away from
the old ways of operating schools in isolation.
