ACTIVITY
HOW WILL I
BE HAPPY?

OWN HAPPY
THOUGHTS
!
PROVIDE SPACE
FOR POSITIVE
ATTITUDE!
IS IT
POSSIBLE?
Want some
suggestions?

Believe in Optimism:
Always tell yourself you are going to
succeed even before starting your task
because then you won't want to let yourself
down by not accomplishing the work. Our
Attitude determines how we look at our
setback. It can be a Stepping Stone to
Success for a Winner or a Stumbling Block
for a Loser.
RULE #1:
Have a Burning Desire
to Work Hard:
As said by Thomas Edison, "Success is 1% Inspiration
and 99% Perspiration". Be aware that Procrastination is
the thief of time.
RULE # 2:
Keep Learning:
Be a Learner and develop an Attitude
of wanting to know more. If you always
do what you have always done, you will
always get what you have got.
RULE # 3:

Never Quit:
If you fail it doesn't mean you didn't strive. Always
appreciate your efforts. As Edwin C Bliss said, "Success
doesn't mean the absence of failures; it means
attainment of ultimate objectives. It means winning the
war not every battle."
RULE # 4:
Focus on your Strengths and not
on your Weaknesses:
Identify your areas of specialization and competencies. Winners
recognizes their Limitations but focuses on their Strengths where
as Losers recognize their Strengths but focuses on their
Weaknesses. But Remember: The grass always looks greener on
the other side.
RULE # 5:
 Associate yourself
with Positive Thinkers:
If you associate with Positive thinker, achiever you
will become one and vice-versa. A Person's Character is
not only judged by the company he keeps but also by
the company he avoids.
RULE # 6:

Set Realistic Targets
for you:
Vaclav Havel, President of the Czech Republic, once said,
"Work for something because it is good, not just because it
stands a chance to succeed." Know what you are capable of,
what you want to accomplish/achieve and also how, when
you Plan to achieve it.
RULE # 7:
 Follow the Principle of 3 Most vital P's
in life (Planning, Preparation and
Practice):
Utilize your time effectively, efficiently and productively. Help
someone out, Maintain Holistic health by better nutrition, proper
exercise. Spend Quality time with your friends and family. There is
an Old Chinese saying, "Tell me and I will remember for an hour,
Show me and I will remember for a day, but let me do it and I will
remember forever."
RULE # 8:

Accept
Changes:
Change is the only thing in the world which is
constant. Always be flexible in life, look at the brighter
side of change and be ready to move on.
RULE # 9:
Stop the Blame
Game:
People with Negative Attitude often blame the whole
world for their failure. But honestly we are responsible
for our own success or failure. Life is a Struggle and
blaming others just adds fuel to fire.
RULE # 10
Will POSITIVE
ATTITUDE bring you
HAPPINESS?
Hmmmmmm?
The world is full of people
looking for spectacular happiness
while they snub contentment.
Doug Larson
This happiness consisted of nothing
else but the harmony of the few
things around me with my own
existence, a feeling of contentment
and well-being that needed no
changes and no intensification.
Herman Hesse
CONTENTMENT?
True humility is
contentment.
Henri Frederic Amiel
Therefore….
Finding happiness is like finding yourself.
You don't find happiness, you make
happiness. You choose happiness. Self-
actualization is a process of discovering
who you are, who you want to be and
paving the way to happiness by doing
what brings YOU the most meaning and
contentment to your life over the long
run.
- David Leonhardt, The Happy Guy
True happiness is not
attained through self-
gratification, but through
fidelity to a worthy
purpose.
Helen Keller
Realize that true happiness lies within
you. Waste no time and effort searching
for peace and contentment and joy in
the world outside. Remember that there
is no happiness in having or in getting,
but only in giving. Reach out. Share.
Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you
cannot pour on others without getting a
few drops on yourself.
- Og Mandino
