This document summarizes an assessment trip by Engineers Without Borders to Las Cruces, Guatemala to study flood mitigation options. It describes the community impacted by severe flooding in 2008 when over 7,000 residents were displaced. Engineers analyzed topography, rainfall patterns, and watershed data to understand flooding. Their framework focuses on understanding the problem and constraints to identify sustainable solutions given limited resources. The goal is to help the vulnerable community mitigate future flooding impacts.
Constant innovation is the need of the hour and this issue of Newstrack talks about the same. Bajaj Allianz has taken several steps to keep pace with the growing demands of today’s customers. This issue of NEWSTRACK will take you through such product and service innovations over the years
The Edanz Journal Advisor provides authors, especially those for whom English is not their first language, with tools and services to help them overcome barriers to publication success. It also includes guides and videos that inform authors throughout the publication process. Using Journal Selector, authors enter a brief description of their research. Users can input a whole abstract, rather than just the few terms or phrases that current academic and science search tools allow. Journal Selector then matches the author’s research to journals that are publishing articles on similar topics. After selecting a journal, authors then use Edanz educational resources and services to improve their manuscript’s language, write a cover letter, and prepare for submission and peer review.

The Application of Enterprise Social Networking to Talent Management and Tale...Conenza
In this webinar, we will discuss how enterprise social networking can be applied to your talent acquisition and management efforts to enhance collaboration and communication, increase recruiting and talent management efficiency, and retain access to valuable intellectual capital. We will walk through some real world examples of the different types of corporate social networking initiatives that are being successfully adopted within leading global organizations.

Media serves two roles in communities, providing direct impact on viewers and indirect impact through partnerships. Such endeavors (and their evaluations) can be highly complex. This deck, presented at the AEA 2015 Evaluation Conference, shares key activities and methods, prioritization and timing of measurements, opportunities and pitfalls, and of course, how to effectively "toot your horn" with stakeholders.

At the 2013 Oil & Money Conference, YPF's President & Chief Executive Officer, Miguel Galuccio discussed Argentina's unconventional resources and the evolution of cost and productivity.
